"Enter Into God's Rest!" Assembly
I had a last-minute interview. They asked me to do it around 9:30 am that morning. The part was right after lunch. Thanks to Jehovah, I was able to come up with something to say.
When we left for the assembly that morning, we knew our landlord would have contractors in to replace the sliding door damaged during the typhoon in May. What we didn't know was that they would be replacing ALL the windows too.
They were still working when we got home around 5 pm and our house was a disaster. So we left.
We had dinner plans with Ken + Kim anyway.
Our dear sweet landlord and his wife were still at our place when we returned cleaning up.
The work continued well into the next day.
We had a typhoon scare but nothing developed.
This happened unbeknownst to one another. Like uncle, like nephew!
