During the week of November 21–24, Aaron attended a School for Congregation Elders. It was held in one of the Kingdom Halls at the Guam Branch. Sessions started at 8 a.m. each morning and ended at 5 p.m.—Monday through Thursday. Friday was a half-day. Congregations took turns providing a noon meal for the approximately 50 students.
The purpose of the school was to help the elders care for their responsibilities within the congregation. Aaron says he felt "mentally drained, but spiritually renewed ".
