On the last day with my parents and siblings, we had a slow start—
lounging around the house in our jammies drinking coffee.
Above, left: Newest member of the family, Blue (who quickly became "boo-boo" for Mom).
Please note: the polka-dot jammies AND the argyle jammies are both mine however due to the warm temperatures in Guam, I left them behind for Jolene.
Mom, Jolene, Aaron and I went over to Jacksonville—a quaint little town with loads of
history, fun shops and delicious dining—for a little window shopping and lunch.
I hadn't realized that Mom and I were sporting the same fabulous eyewear.
A little silliness and lunch at Bella Union.
After a little shopping we found ourselves back at Bella Union on
the patio for a glass of wine and a round of photos.
A bittersweet day! We took Jolene home and said good-bye to the family.
We packed up and said good-bye to Amanda, Cody and boys.
We enjoyed dinner with Mom and Dad at their favorite Mexican Restaurant
and then popped in to say good-bye to Jenn, Dave and boys.
It was a fun few days with family
but I don't like good-byes!
Nice pics of you all. Blue or boo-boo, is so cute. I don't like Good-Bye's either, know it is hard.
ReplyDeleteGoodbye's ARE hard--I teared up reading about them. SO glad you've got some great pics and memories to sustain you until someone is able to visit or you visit again. (Cute PJs--Jolene will stay nice and warm)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed that day it was quite and relaxing. Your visit was wonderful, it was like always, fun to be with you and Aaron. Like you never left and are in Salem waiting for another visit:)
