As is often the case, Aaron was the favorite of the boys. He was dubbed My Buddy and the boys would argue over whose buddy he was. The conversation went like this:
"My buddy!"
"No, my buddy!"
Above, Nathan is reading Samual's favorite book The Far Side. One day in the car, Nathan kept saying something we couldn't figure out. Turns out he was saying, "Through the hoop Bob!" The saying stuck and became something of a slogan for our time with the Smiths—when there was nothing else to say. Nathan would always laugh when he heard it. It was cute!
After a few days, Aaron had to get back to the office. Some people have to work, you know! Not sure what that's about!
One day we took a drive around the south end of the island. The boys missed My Buddy so we called him and let the boys each have a turn chatting over the phone. That seemed to make them happy!
Silly and absolutely adorable! The Far Side? Really? (Maybe he can convince people he visited a Boneless Chicken Ranch in Guam)
