Aaron and I decided to dive Asan Cut on a Sunday. We pulled into the park and by coincidence, there were Aaron's co-worker, Tim and Alexis (above). They dive every weekend so the odds were pretty good that we'd see them there. Of course…timing is everything!
It was a pretty cool dive. You walk out thru the shallows over rock and then the edge drops off to about 20 feet. There is a series of chambers that cut thru the cliff before you reach open water. Then you swim along cliffs and coral.
We saw lots of fish. Aaron has a fish identification book now. We managed to identify quite a few fish that we saw, with the help of photos—some good some not-so-good. Here are some of the good ones!

Nice pictures, can't really say for sure if I can see the Octopus, see an eye on a rock, I think? The cushion star is interesting looking.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the wonderful Smith Family, very nice family.:)
So where are the octupus and the cushion star? Talk about great camouflage... Looks like a fun dive.
