My dear friend, Fausta, made me this beautiful haku (head lei). She asked me before she made it if I would wear it. I said that I would. I asked why she wanted to make it for me. She said, "I just want to give you something."
This is, to me, a gift from the heart! She generously gave her time and talent to create something beautiful for me. I was truly touched by the gesture.
You may be thinking...why isn't she wearing it on her head? Apparently, I have a fat head! :)

That is a beautiful head lei, or necklace, looks good as both.:)
ReplyDeleteWell that's not a surprise... A fat head is a Clifton trait.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, You have a big head like your dad! Sorry, Mom
ReplyDeleteWow...that was so nice of her. A "just because" gift is always a wonderful surprise. Is it flowers? (Are leis ALL flowers?)Is it on string? Wire? Where did Fausta learn to do this? Will it fit Aaron? (Nobody expected that your wit would be contained in a "regular" sized head...there was just never reason to measure it before...)
