Aaron and I are still busy with our various assignments but we've had a few occasions to enjoy a little relaxation and fun.
We enjoyed dinner hosted by Greg and Crystine Polk (right). They came to Guam to help the Chinese Group that is associated with our congregation. At the center of the photo are Bruce and Cherry Cook. They have been at Guam Bethel for years and have recently been reassigned to Saipan as Special Pioneers (similar to a missionary assignment). Brandon and Naomi Chinen (left) are also in our congregation. We delighted in a delicious meal and great conversation!
It is avocado season again! This is our first harvest. And on the right is an "island breakfast" complete with rice and Tabasco. Had to try it! Rice is still not my first choice for breakfast.
Can you bring some Avocados when you come to visit. They look so good. Yum! Glad to see that you are having some fun, despite your busy schedule.:-D
ReplyDeleteAvocados look wonderful...What's that on the right in that pic? Eggs? (If you tilt your head, it kind of looks like a yellow frog--the main mass is his head and body the top is a leg) Try your rice with cinnamon and milk...mmmm mmmm good.
ReplyDeleteTry brown rice with finedene and some of those yummy avos and you're set! Thanks again for the two I scored!
ReplyDeleteAaron and his avocados. That is one thing I would love about living there!
