Aaron and I went down to Ypao (ee pow) Beach Park on Saturday to check out the fair. There were people from many of the islands around the Marianas and Micronesia—Saipan, Rota, Yap, Chuuk, Tinian, Palau, and many more—sharing their culture, arts, crafts, and traditions. There was a Chamorro Hut in the park as well as a traditional Kosrae cooking house. We walked around for about an hour and came home with a painting by a local artist and an orchid from the plant sale.
