Tennis Anyone

 

Hide (hee day), the mechanic at the Branch is also a tennis player. Aaron played tennis with him and another brother last Saturday. This is Aaron before and this is Aaron after. His t-shirt says “I love red rice!” Red rice is a common dish here. We’ve never tried it but have been promised an official Chamorro BBQ on Sunday.

A bunch of the young people from the various congregations on the island (and many not so young) get together every Sunday at a soccer field to play soccer on the south end of the island. We’re talking full-on games, timed at a half hour. They play about four games (6 to 10 o’clock). Everyone can play. Some of the kids are very good. It looks like a lot of fun. We went last Sunday and are planning to go again this week.
