Orientation

Hafa Adai from Guam

Our orientation was very nice. In the front row (left to right) are Chuck and Donna Brock from Idaho on their way to Pohnpei. In the second row are Will and Julie Ealy from Georgia on their way to Saipan and Walt Skogsburg who is staying in Guam (not sure where he came from). In the last row are Fred and Leslie Hubbard from Northern California near Mt. Lassen on their way to Palau.

The program included talks like Adapting to Micronesia, Understanding Collectivist Cultures, Helping Those Who Have Been Abused, Coping with Homesickness, Maintaining Balance, Training Others (within the congregation), and Preaching and Teaching in Micronesia.

  1. I just now am getting to read all your blogs. I don't know if you will get this message since this is an older blog but, OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am so excited for you. This sounds like so much great information to help you with adjusting to the needs of the people you will be preaching to. WOW! Love, Summer
