Arrival In Guam

Hafa Adai from Guam

Our flight here was very smooth. Our luggage arrived safely. After collecting our luggage we exited the airport hoping to see someone with a sign saying "Sutton" on it. No one was there. It was a little concerning but it was not long and a man in a bright green tie came thru the door. I knew it must be one of the brothers from the branch office and sure enough, he approached us and asked if we were the Suttons. We were greatly relieved since we were absolutely exhausted.

The photo here shows the branch committee. Roger is in the center. He was the one who picked us up at the airport.

He then took us to the home we are now staying at. We put our bags in our room and he asked if we would like to go to a gathering. So off we went and met some of the friends from the Dededo congregation. They were sending off one of their young brothers to one of the other islands to help in the International Construction work.

We met many new friends and then returned to our temporary home to rest.
