Our letter encouraged us to make a visit to the island prior to moving, if possible. We leave on July 15th and will be gone for two weeks. Someone from the branch will pick us up at the airport and we will stay there for a few days. It sounds as though the branch is making arrangements for us to stay with some of the brothers after that.
In the meantime, we have put our house up for sale and are taking inventory of the items we will ship to Guam, store in a shed at mom and dad's or sell in a garage sale.
