Seoul City Tour

After visiting the prison and Deoksugung Palace, we were whisked away to Seoul's city center.

The older building in the front is a museum and tucked in behind is City Hall.

    

Aaron was intrigued by the engineering of the building.

Shopping—artwork, Celadon (pottery glazed in jade green celadon color) 

and the typical tourist baubles (magnets, keychains, etc)

A quick slurp of soup, noodles and kimchi before they load us on the bus again.

Last stop of the day—Seoul Tower.

    

We rode a cable car up to the base of the tower where we enjoyed the views.

After viewing the city lights outside, we found ourselves a warm place inside to take in the view.

    

The next morning, we went into Tongjin for coffee and quality time together (I kid!).

After lunch, we checked out of our hotel, called a taxi and headed into the Guro district where we checked into our airbnb.

We were within walking distance to three streets of nothing but restaurants and bars.

Seoul has no shortage of coffee shops, pastry shops, beer and chicken restaurants—restaurants in general really!

The night comes alive!

This was my favorite dining experience. Our waiter showed us what to eat and how to eat it.

The flavors were amazing!
