Nighttime Mischief

Thanks to our wood-supplying, fire-building expert Alan—we enjoyed sunset and a bonfire with friends.

Bob and Lolly came through on their way to Indiana. We were experiencing load shedding due to power plants being down. While the boys were enjoying some male bonding, us girls were dying of heat at the apartment. So, in an effort to cool off, we decided to go to dinner at our favorite Thai restaurant. As we pulled up to the restaurant, the lights went out. We walked in to meet the boys. Being a small restaurant, it of course has no generator. However, our orders were in, the kitchen continued to cook and we enjoyed a dinner by candlelight. A very memorable evening!
