Kosrae

 

Since moving to Guam, our goal has been to travel to all the islands of Micronesia. 

In November we checked off a couple more islands.

We were invited to stay at the Remote Translation Office (RTO) with Micah and Mandy.

We took a drive out to Sipyen Waterfall on the south-central part of the island.

It wasn’t a long hike, nor was it difficult…

…but with inappropriate footwear and wearing a dress, it was a little precarious.

Aaron and I visited the ruins of Nan Madol on Pohnpei way back in February 2013. We had no idea there were similar ruins on the island of Lelu, near Kosrae—and just behind the Ace Grocery.

Micah and Mandy had a Cribbage board they’ve never used, so we taught them how to play.

On Sunday, Aaron gave a talk.

After the meeting we enjoyed a gathering with the friends.

Aaron made quick friends of the little ones.

They love to play games.

They sang a “Welcome” song.

The next day we were off to the airport—

heading for Majuro!
