Convention Day Three

Chile Special Convention

Sisters from Trinidad and Tabago. They were at our hotel and on our bus.
Beautiful, happy people!
Friends from Florida, also at our hotel and on our bus
Aaron working the back of the line, handing out stickers
Aaron wanted to see this brother’s spurs, so he turned his leg.
I said “You pose like a girl!"
His response when his friends translated.
His spurs
Aaron and Mark (from a Tagalog congregation on Guam)
He was not prepared for the cold but the friends took him in—
fed him and clothed him, so to speak.
A couple from Mexico
The third day of convention was the coldest day.
We took advantage of the hospitality tent.
There was an opportunity to enjoy the sunshine during lunch.
Our ragtag group from Micronesia
Alodia and Jim from Palau
At the close of the convention, the singing continued with five extra songs.
This brother and his wife sat behind us. He generously palmed Aaron some cash.
When we tried to refuse, he said “You came so far!"
A sister from Mexico
A brother from Colombia

Nobody wanted it to end!
A brother who has continued to serve as a circuit overseer after the death of his dear wife.
All the single ladies on our bus. They never stopped chatting, laughing and singing.
We enjoyed a meal with Matt and Minori.
After dinner there was an unexpected party at our hotel…

…complete with a choir
