Fresh off the boat
We decided to walk out to the main gate to grab a cab. On our way out, a car stopped and asked if we wanted to share their ride. Two crew members were already in the car. So we decided to go with them. They drove us into a shopping mall. Before leaving, our driver gave us his WhatsApp number and said he'd come back for us.

Our driver didn't come back for us but he sent his friend, which was funny because when we came out to the curb, a man we did not recognize approached us and showed us a photo of ourselves on his phone. He loaded us into his deluxe van and took us to a waterfront market.

We're not sure of the pricing but 500,000 dong would be almost $20 per kilogram (2.2 lbs) which seems to be the going rate.
