March 2021

Still under COVID-19 restrictions.

Our latest puzzle.

French toast and bacon.
We used King's Bread from Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort.
The most delicious loaf of white bread we've ever eaten.

In some South East Asian countries, the locals use the leaves to wrap rice,
meat or fish for cooking. As for the fruit? It is often consumed by sucking the
juice from the inside end of what look like large "kernels".

My boy, Brandon gave his first public talk in the Chuukese language.

Our dear friend (a.k.a. Kina's brother)
Matthew married his sweetheart, Minori.

She was shy after their first kiss as husband and wife.

Both sets of parents joined them for their first dance.

It was a very lovely and dignified wedding on Zoom.

We celebrated the event by exploring a new resort.
Since there are still no tourists, most of the hotels are rather empty.

At 8:15 p.m. there is a fountain show at the pool bar.

Just washing dishes.

Brandon and Marlene's one year anniversary.
Their date is only two days before ours (many, many years after).

We enjoyed social distancing with them at Gun Beach.

These look like orchids but they are very tiny flowers on a bush
(a little larger than a lilac bloom).

A walk to Two Lovers Point.
Sometimes we combine our workout with a beverage and appetizer at sunset.

Waiting for food.

Bow tie lessons.

Fruit from our property.

A walk to Gun Beach.

Aaron hosted a Memorial bread baking session on Zoom.

Memorial

Aaron gave the talk for this year.
He did a very nice job.

His setup. I logged in on my other computer across the room.

Despite the fact that businesses are opening up and the percentage of
occupancy is increasing on Guam, we are still wearing masks, washing our hands,
sanitizing and keeping our distance. The number of positive cases is a handful
per day and a large number of people are being vaccinated.

Still, we remain cautious.
Be safe. Stay well.
