Jessi arrived on Guam with her friend Veronica. Well, that was a full year ago and much has happened since then! She's a Guamy now and we had to celebrate!
We went to dinner and then tooled around the duty free shops in Tumon before heading to Underwater World.
We're very proud of our girl! She's not had a super easy transition—considering that she broke her leg shortly after her arrival, had to have surgery and then rely on the kindness of virtual strangers during recovery. But she's moved past that and is now trying to learn Chinese so that she can teach those in our territory about the Bible. She's definitely got an ear/tongue for the language!
