Our final day arrived. We drove to Portland and enjoyed the evening with my cousin, Tyler and his wife, Diana. Ed and Cindy were with us too, as was Steve. Back to where we began, back with the people we started with.We had pizza at a place called H.U.B.—Hopworks Urban Brewery. One last taste of microbrew before we headed home. We do have one microbrew on Guam, Mermaid Tavern, which we love.
After dinner, we said our goodbyes to Ed and Cindy. The "goodbye" we were putting off as long as possible. Bittersweet!
We went back to Tyler and Diana's where we visited for a time before going off to bed. Our flight was very early the next morning. Steve, so generously, drove across town to take us to the airport.
We had a wonderful visit with our friends and family in Oregon but we were very happy to arrive home in Guam. There is nothing quite like home and routine.
