Crabby

Aaron and I arrived in Guam on Saturday, October 1.  The following weekend, on Sunday, was our Special Assembly Day.  Our assemblies are held in the Field House at the University of Guam.  To prepare for the all-day event, volunteers gathered on Saturday morning for interior cleaning, landscape maintenance and setup.  Aaron is responsible for scheduling and overseeing the cleaning day.

Some of the boys that came to help found this Coconut Crab.

Landscape maintenance usually requires weeding, trimming the grass, bushes and palms, as well as, blowing debris from the parking lot.  Inside the bathrooms have to be thoroughly cleaned, as do the floors which requires gum removal, sweeping and mopping.  Setup includes putting the stage together, putting out chairs in rows and running wire for the sound system.  It's quite a feat but the rewards are abundant—a full day of spiritual encouragement, reminders and association.
