Portland to Sunriver

After brunch and a much needed shower, we hit the road—stopping only long enough to pick up some sunscreen and water at the local Safeway.

From Portland, we traveled over the mountains, through Mt. Hood National Forest, to Sunriver which is located in the Deschutes National Forest.

Along the way the temperature got up to 100ยบ F.  We turned on the aircon (AC) and enjoyed the sunshine.

    Road trips are pretty cool especially when you can drive over 35 mph. Looks like you had a great trip.

    I'm thinking that road was 55 mph! But I could be wrong? I think Aaron is definitely enjoying his little care!:) You both look happy to be home for a visit! mom
