We arrived in Portland early Friday morning—a bit weary from 18 hours of travel. Steve met us at security and Ed and Cindy were waiting at baggage claim. We quickly gathered our bags and headed for historic Edgefield, built in 1911 as the county poor farm. Now it is a destination resort featuring the carefully restored, original buildings, gardens grown
using organic methods, great food and drink, live entertainment and
more. We met my cousin, Tyler and Diana for a delicious brunch at Black Rabbit Restaurant.

After breakfast we were able to shower at Edgefield before we hit the road for Sunriver to see Aaron's mom and stepdad.
Nice job Christy with the map, that is a neat visual.
