Saturday Convention


David became part of our lives over a year ago. He made us very happy and proud on Saturday when he symbolized his dedication to Jehovah God. David was the first in the pool, second only to Richard. It was Richard's first time to baptize anyone. 






If you look close enough at the third photo, you'll notice that the edge of the pool is rather close to the back of David's head. Sure enough, we heard a thud. There was an "Ahhh!" heard from the crowd around the pool. Poor Richard couldn't stop laughing and, of course, couldn't believe he had done it. David was fine and easily laughed it off. After a quick recovery, David was overwhelmed by the friends and their congratulatory hugs and shaking of hands. It was a good day!

    Wow, poor David and poor Richard. That is a day either of them will forget and tell the story for many years.:) Congratulations to David from us!

    That is WONDERFUL! Congratulations David--now you can be overwhelemed by the congratulatory e-mails. (It's great that David's baptism will be associated with smiles for numerous reasons.)

    Congratulations, to the three of you now as spiritual parents this is one of the most emotional days, yet the most joyous, I am sure you shed a tear but it is absolutely fantastic David has taken this life saving step, congrats one again
