We entered the water at Gun Beach and followed a pipeline that runs out through a cut in the reef. The highlight of the dive were the three turtles we saw. They were beautiful! The camouflage on their shells was extraordinary!
It was a little tricky coming back in. We had work along the pipe on the bottom, alternately holding on when the tide was going out and then riding the tide as it was coming in. We concluded our afternoon poolside at the Westin until the sun went down. A much needed reprieve!
Great pictures, beautiful fish and the turtles are really neat looking. Glad you had a nice reprieve, you did need that.!:)
ReplyDeleteVery glad you took pics so that we can enjoy the view without all that hard work. Sounds like a fun day...but then they ALL do.
ReplyDeleteWe've had some great dives there recently. Huge mantas feeding at about 5:30 day before yesterday. And turtles are just my favorite thing in the world...
ReplyDeleteI really only like to go when it's calm, because of that tide thing, but those pipes are so handy!!
beautiful someday maybe!
