Aaron and I arrived in Cairns, Australia late Wednesday night. Richard and Tai Kowalski picked us up at the airport. We met Richard and Tai for the first time THAT night! They are just gorgeous! We quickly felt at home and they helped us find our way around Cairns—sometimes joining us and other times giving us the keys to their car. They are most generous hosts. Thanks guys! The following day, Tai took us up to her sisters place. We enjoyed the beautiful rainforest garden from her balcony, a slice of cold watermelon and Sharwin's artwork. More about Sharwin later.
How wonderful you were treated so kindly by the friends. Loved Sharwin's view from her balcony, how beautiful. Was a beautiful bird in that tree in the one picture, and was it star fruit in the other pic? What a great place to paint your artwork.
