We checked into the Westin on Friday around 3 p.m.—in celebration of our 13th wedding anniversary. We wanted to get away. Since we didn't have time to go off-island and there is really nowhere to go out of town, we decided to go out of village—only 2 minutes from home.
Our room was very nice. We even had a partial view of the water.

We went to dinner at Prego—an Italian restaurant in the Westin. The food was delicious and we enjoyed a lovely glass of champagne courtesy of the Westin. After dinner we walked down hotel row doing what the tourists do—taking pictures! Silly but fun!

The next morning was beautiful. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and a couple hands of cribbage. We quit playing after we'd each won one game. I think Aaron was afraid I'd win the third hand! Check out was at noon so we headed home.
