Merizo Pier & Beyond

Last weekend, Sunday after the meeting (or was it Saturday after service?), Aaron and I drove down south with Jason and Julie Burnett and Jared Persinger. We took a wine-tasting style lunch and stopped at Merizo Pier Park. Merizo is a village. We enjoyed our lunch and Jared jumped off the pier a few times before we ventured further south in search of a beach.

We found this spot along the way. It was very shallow. We had to walk out quite a distance before we could actually swim. The water was beautiful and warm (of course).

After we swam for an hour or so, we drove on south. We stopped to take a photo of this rock formation. 

Then on to Jeff's Pirate Cove where we enjoyed burgers, fries and beverages.

We stopped once more before we arrived in the village of Tamuning where Jason and Julie live. This is a beach in Yigo (pronounced jee-go or zee-go). We ended the night at their house, relaxing and enjoying Planet Earth. Fun day!
