Diving at Fish Eye

Island Tour

Last Saturday, Aaron and I went diving at Fish Eye. We got in the water just before it started to get dark. We walked in from the shore out to the end of the pier. We saw lots of coral and a wide variety of fish and eels.

I saw my first Lionfish. He was hiding out in a little hole in the coral. We'd like to go back when there is more daylight.

We went with Peter and Tanya from the branch and an international volunteer couple, Levi and Trish, working at the branch for a three-month construction assignment. Afterward, we went back to Peter and Tanya's room, had dinner and traded stories. Peter and Tanya saw a huge Moray Eel. Tanya is convinced that it was the size of the Shrieking Eels in Princess Bride.

  1. The water is beautiful, so clear and blue/aqua. Very neat and awesome. Love the lionfish.
